0-4 at home at Sandskogens IP in the double meet against division 3 team Hestrafors IF in qualifying for the amateur cup UEFA Regions Cup. The coming weekend's return on away plan will be a tough task for Ystads IF.

Already in the fourth minute, the visitors created their first goal chance on a windy Sand Forest's IP. Minutes later, it was YIF's turn when Edin Sarhatlic finished off from a narrow angle. Hestrafors had some more ball possession in the swinging first half where Ystad occasionally threatened with balls out to left-hander Carl Persson, who did not, however, get away from his guards. Halfway into the half, Ystad washed out a bunch of corners that created some disorder in the visitors' penalty area.

Ystad was close several times but Hestrafors goalkeeper kept zero.

A few minutes later it was Hestrafors who created pressure towards the home goal with several open positions. In the 35 minute the visitors' pressure resulted in Chris Makindu's close range. In the extra time of the first 45, Ystad got another corner where the ball danced just above Hestrafors goal line, or was the ball clean off the line? The referee did not think so, half time 0-1.

The second half started with Ystad being forced into a center-back exchange, Gustav Göransson out and Jonathan Jensen in. The same course of events as in the beginning of the first half when Emil Svensson replaced Alexander Bernhoff in the midfield.

DSC 2256 österlen.se
Ystads Emil Svensson was replaced early in the match and made a good day job in the midfield.

Carl Persson continued his runs, now from the right, and had a couple of runs to the right of Hestrafor's goalkeeper. The visitors were clearly the better team in the second half and after Emil Pettersson's 0-2 goal there was no snack. Ystad tried to push forward but Hestrafors showed both speed in the conversion game and efficiency in the closing, which punished the home team two more times, Sajad Mohammadi and Emil Pettersson. Final result 0-4 which of course becomes difficult to turn over on Saturday when the return game is played. But how would the match picture have been if the receipt ball had been approved at the end of the first half?

The UEFA Regions Cup is an amateur tournament where teams between division 2 and 7 can register. Ystads IF and Hestrafors IF were the only teams in Sweden to register. Conquering teams in the double meet will therefore also become Sweden's representative in the continuing qualification that will be played this summer.

Simon Hedqvist #21 scored three goals and also contributed a sacrificial defense game.

The big and loud crowd in Jonebergshallen was invited during Saturday afternoon for fantastic floor entertainment when the top teams in division 4 FC Cimrishamn and IBK Genarp came together. When the nosebleeds stopped, the adrenaline dropped and the pulses went down a bit we could read seven equally on the scoreboard.

DSC 2429 österlen.se
FC Cimrishamn and IBK Genarp shared the points ahead of Jonebergshallen's well-stocked stands.

In the pot was a series lead and three points lead down to today's competitor. This was noticed immediately when the match was started. The guests began with something more similar to a final run on an 400 meter race and forced an early FCC deportation. In the sixth minute came logical 0-1. Cimrishamn also stepped on his feet and was able to accept both Dennis Hedqvist and take the lead through Simon Hedqvist and Anton Blohmé in a first period characterized by will, very high tempo and sometimes hot play. Pause 3-1.

Six minutes into the second period, Genarp reduced to 3-2 and the match now stood and weighed. Continued pace strong and many goal chances in both directions but it was late in the match minute sixteen before the next goal came through the home team's Andreas Björborn dotted 4-2 in front of a cheering home crowd. When Cimrishamn then utilized a power play to 5-2, Simon Hedqvist, barely a minute later, it looked reassuring for the home team. But Genarp did not give in, a backside shot in behind talented home-keeper Henrik Dahlström and gave the guests a hang for the final period.

Just over seven minutes into the final period, Cimrishamn again acquired a three-goal over when Simon Hedqvist reached the right from his back position and elegantly served the home team's goalie Albin Hammargren who pressed 6-3. Homecoming was short. Guest team captain Jesper Björkquist, who along with Genarp's trollgirl Ebbe Nordbäck was Genarp's best, took captain responsibility by bombing the ball in the home cage's right cross - what a hit! The goal ignited the jump for Genarp, who again launched a race where 400-meters sprinted. And now Genarp received a dividend. 6-4 became 6-5, 6-6 and 6-7 in just four minutes and Cimrishamn was rocking. During another power play for the home team, Simon Hedqvist scored his third goal until 7-7.

DSC 2424 österlen.se
Back Simon Hedqvist, #21 to the left in blue jersey, scored three goals and also contributed a sacrificial defense game.

The game with extra everything - nosebleeds, class goals, nerves, a lot of expulsions and great entertainment - would get another ingredient. When only 26 seconds remained, the referee inflicted a penalty for Genarp. However, the shooter was hit by a rubber arm and shot off Dahlström's right post. Final result 7-7, a fair result that the third top team of the series, Hofteruds IBF, is certainly pleased.

FC Cimrishamns, Simrishamn's public team all categories, the next home game has rejection 14.00 Sunday, 8 December when Malmhaug IBF comes to visit.

13-year-old Hannes coached Ale for the derby win

13 year-old Hannes Lidén Isaksson on the right coaches teammate Anders Andersson to victory in the series match against Tomelilla AIS.

In the weekend's 4 division in table tennis between IF Ale and Tomelilla AIS, the home team was coached by 13-year-old Hannes Lidén Isaksson. With his calm and clear leadership, he contributed to a stable 8-2 victory for Ale.

Hannes has played table tennis since he was 6 years and has played both the Riks peak 12 and the youth SM. But now he had the role of coach. Ales player Anders Andersson went an even match against Tomelilla's Mensur Avdullahu.
- Good job, think of the server, Hannes calls from one corner of the small hall in Kåseberga where two table tennis tables are set up.

The windows in the hall are covered to remove reflections from the sunlight and the worn parquet floor creaks and fails as the players' quick feet move around the tables. Avdullahu was picking up a lead when Hannes took a tactical time out to get Andersson in balance.
"Take it easy now and no carelessness," Hannes said, turning his eyes to his considerably older teammate!

DSC 2342 österlen.se
Andersson held off and was able to win the match against Mensur Avdullahu after three straight sets.

IF Ale finally won the match in division 4 south with reassuring 8-2. Tomelilla's two wins took Stefan Hallgren, who played a lot of table tennis as a youngster. But at the age of 22 he made a break. In 25 years!

Stefan Hallgren took Tomelilla's two wins in the match against Ale.

- When my son Nils became interested I started playing again. We train together two times a week in Tomelilla, says Stefan Hallgren, who is currently ranked in level 4 of the total 7 levels in which the Swedish table tennis players are divided into.

FC Cimrishamn up in series lead after the 6-3 victory over Skurups IBK.

FC Cimrishamn are still undefeated after Thursday night's 6-3 victory over Skurup's IBK H4. However, it started swaying in Jonebergshallen before the Simrish harbors stepped on in period two.

The opening of the match was characterized by rolling and snappy play with many individual breakthrough attempts and it was felt 50 / 50 for which of the teams would make the first goal. In the eighth minute, Skurup made 0-1 after a chilly backhand lift. Cimrishamn created a lot of shooting positions, but the base was up to the first break.

In the second period, the home team stepped up - significantly better mobility and sharpness in the passing game and 4.28 into the middle period drew Björn Kronkvist on a shot against Skurups' obscure goalkeeper. The ball slims in until 1-1. Five minutes later, Cimrishamn utilized a power play when Andreas Björborn, in a tricky position behind goal, served Albin Hammargren who controlled 2-1. Two minutes later, it was the guests' turn to paint in the power play. Cimrishamn took over the match but still 2-2 on the scoreboard. Dennis Hedqvist wanted to change that when, after 13 minutes, he made a powerful back-break and advanced towards goal and punctured 3-2 behind a scoreless away goalkeeper. With only two seconds! remaining of the period Andreas Björborn served a new pass behind Skurup's goal cage. This time it was Dennis Hedqvist who managed the pass and scored his second straight goal up to 4-2 ahead of the end period. A so-called psychological goal.

DSC 2324 1 österlen.se
Albin Hammargren with the ball, score best so far in FC Cimrishamn with 17 points (11 goals and 6 assists).

When home team Anton Blohmé barely four minutes into the third period made the 5-2 the victory felt clear. Admittedly, Skurup created several reduction situations, but when it was needed at best, Cimrishamn's goalkeeper Philip Olsson stood in the way, which made the away team's reduction hunt thinner one by one. 6-2 did Anton Areskoug when there were six minutes remaining and the rest of the match became a flamboyant story.

FC Cimrishamn-Skurups IBK H4 6-3 (0-1, 3-1, 3-1).
Goalkeepers FCC: Dennis Hedqvist 2, Anton Blohmé, Björn Kronkvist, Albin Hammargren and Anton Areskoug.

FC Cimrishamn now leads division 4 south of Skåne with a match more played compared to the other two top teams Hofteruds IBF and IBK Genarp. Cimrishamn will receive Genarp in the next round at home in Jonebergshallen on November 23.

On November 23 Tomelilla Golf Club will host a World Cup qualifier in Footgolf.

On Saturday, 23 November, the World Cup qualifier in footgolf - Tomelilla Open Fifg100. The competition is played like a traditional golf competition: 36 holes, and with as few kicks on the football as possible to get it in holes.

A little over a week before the start on the Tomelilla golf course, we checked the situation with organizer duo Tobias Beijer and Joacim Lindholm who have both played SM for the past two years.

DSC 7390 österlen.se
Junior player Harry Esbjörnsson with close play on the 16 hole.

How come you are hosting a World Cup qualifier here in Österlen?
- We have
got my eyes on the sport a lot and would like to bring it forward in Sweden so we thought it would have been fun to host a competition at home. Having said that, we started a page on Facebook and invited everyone we know. We checked the interest in organizing a competition and there was interest. Then we were contacted by Tommy Svensson and Erik Lundin (two of Sweden's foremost and most experienced football golfers) who asked if we were interested in arranging a World Cup qualifier for next year's World Cup in Japan, says Joacim Lindholm.

Kristian Hägglund, club manager at Tomelilla GK, checks in when junior Axel Orrenius makes a kick-out.

The competition in Tomelilla is one of six qualifying competitions for the World Cup. The qualification goes like a traditional golf game, 18 holes in the morning and 18 in the afternoon, where the leader ball goes out last. Minimum number of kicks wins. The top three in the men's and women's class are awarded with the World Cup qualification points.

How many participants are in the competition at Tomelilla Golf Club?

- At the time of writing there are about 25 registered, but we expect between 35 and 40 starting. There are many old football players competing, but far from everyone, it is not always an advantage to have a football background, you have to play with your head too, says Tobias Beijer.

DSC 7358 österlen.se
If the ball ends up in the bunker, it is important to chip it up.

Are you going to participate yourself?
- Yes, both Tobias and I are in the starting list, continues Joacim Lindholm.

Is there any advance favorite?

- We will get several really good players here, but the advance favorite is clear: the reigning Swedish champion and ex-Swedish player Nahir Oyal. He is extremely skilled and has a cruel attitude. Also Tommy Svensson, Erik Lundin, Niklas Karlsson and Tobias Eriksson learn to be cheated at the top for important qualifying points, concludes Joacim Lindholm.

The Tomelilla World Cup qualifier is open to everyone and you can register until the 22 November. Maybe there is a future World Cup player here at Österlen? If not, it will be an exciting competition to follow on site at the Tomelilla golf course.

Jacob Blixt advances in Österlen FF's series finale against FK Karlskrona.

With this weekend's qualifying matches in football, the season's competition games ended. Apart from Spjutstorps IF as the next weekend has the chance to qualify for division 4. Regardless of the result of Spjutstorp's evening drama, we can already say that it was a good year for the team from the southeast - Österlen is on the move and advances the positions in the series system.

We start at the top of the series system where Hammenhögs IF's ladies had long been in first place but ended in a stable third place in division 1 south Götaland. Österlen FF finished fifth in the men's division 2 Östra Götaland with a new points record for the team in second place.

In the third, Tomelilla IF already plays, which next year will be joined by IFK Simrishamn. Simrishamn moves up after going through its division 4 series unbeaten - check out the impressive final table below. 19 wins, three draws and not a single loss!

Gärsnäs AIS puts a very strong season behind it. The five-man series victory means Division 4 games next season.

Gröstorps IF's season also impresses. After qualifying, the team takes the step up to division 5. The same misery up to five makes Öja FF.

The six will be a real wasp nest next season where the following teams settle on which is southeast Skåne's best division 6 team: Kiviks AIF, Rörums SK, Borrby IF, Svenstorps IF, Baskemölla IF and Lövestads IF.

In division 7 we find from Österlen Glemmingebro IF, Onslunda IF, Smedstorps IF and Sövestads IF. Which of these teams is investing in moving up the series system next year?

Now the beginning is another part of what makes football interesting - the silly season. A fox game between clubs, leaders and players - who recruits who?

Senior football in south-eastern Skåne is clearly on the rise and the higher up the series system the best teams reach, the more elite players are attracted to these clubs, which in turn means that player quality flows down the food chain to the teams in the divisions below. Quality is increased at all levels, Österlen is on the way!

Baskemölla IF and IFK Simrishamn cooperate.

Playing youth football until you become a senior is for several reasons preferable to already playing senior football as an 15 or 16 year. When that opportunity is not offered, it is important to find other solutions for the youth who want to continue playing football. This has been done by IFK Simrishamn together with Baskemölla IF.

IFK Simrishamn's 16 team, which consists of players born 03 and 04, will be offered A-team football for Baskemölla IF in the 6 division next season. In addition to Simrishamn's youth players, some players from IFK also join Simrishamn's current a-squad, which will form a senior backbone along with Baskemölla's current players. Coach for the "Simrisbaske team" will be Johan Hörberger, who already belongs to IFK Simrishamn's organization.

- The goal is for Baskemölla to become a top team in the six, says coach Johan Hörberger.

The idea is that the players who make progress in Baskemölla IF should be able to move to IFK Simrishamn's squad to feel the division 3 football there. Conversely, players who are not currently taking part in IFK Simrishamn's A squad should be able to join Baskemölla's A team. A kind of friendly farmer's team arrangement without written agreement.

- No, we do not enter into any agreements, more like a gentleman's agreement that both Baskemölla and we win, says IFK Simrishamn chairman Morgan Ristmägi.

Gröstorps IF has made a strong season in division 6 which it is hoped to be crowned with an advance to division 5. First qualifier against Yngsjö ended with 2-1 victory.

Saturday's nightfall on Impevallen's long-haired and slightly uneven carpet started with the team feeling each other. After ten minutes, the home team's Anton Persson got a deep ball which at first appeared to be taken care of by the visitors but in the opposing situation Persson came loose with the ball and was able to place 1-0.

Gröstorps IF, in white, storms ahead. On Saturday, a season can end with the Simrishamns team ready for division 5 games next season.

Gröstorp's defense usually took the lead from the visitors' attacking attempts but after half an hour the receipt was close when a ball was cleared away on the finish line by a home player. A while later, Gröstorp had a great position until 2-0 when Anton Persson released Emil Löfvall who missed the goal in open position. But the notorious shooter Löfvall (21 goal in the basic series) would revenge halfway into the second half as he sprinted loose on the right edge and dotted 2-0 to his Gröstorp. Yngsjö had a difficult time creating dangerous goal chances but a penalty in the 72 minute made the score 2-1 which was also the final result.

Return next Saturday in Yngsjö at 14.00 when a bus load of Gröstorp supporters supports his village on the spot.

Magnus Högström has taken over as head coach at IFK Simrishamn as head coach of the parent club Tomelilla IF. The result was a new division 3 contract and now TIF looks at its house for next year's season.

In this weekend's home match against Södra Sandby, Tomelilla IF secured a new contract in division 3 thanks to a stable 2-0 victory. Already, the association is aiming for next year's season. Hall-dressing Simon Rosén (former assistant coach at Sjöbo IF) is accepted as assistant coach to TIF's head coach Magnus Högström.

- Simon is an ambitious and determined trainer and man who has good solutions for how we will come to an end in the final third. He wants to work with details in front of the opponents' penalty area, which he will have room to further develop during 2020, says Magnus Högström.

Unknown österlen.se

How will you divide the assignment between you?
- We will use each other's strengths and I am convinced that we complement each other really well.

Status in the squad, who extends, new players in, who leaves?
- Since we have no contracted players, we will be "hit" by the free month so I do not yet know exactly how the squad looks next season. However, many players have already said that they will stay 2020. In the next two weeks, we will take stock of our existing squad. When it comes to new players we have contacted some interesting players before 2020. There are more players to contact but with respect for other clubs that qualify, we will wait to contact until they have qualified.

How do you want to summarize the season and what do you want to develop for the next season?
- I think we have become a more attacking team during my first year in Tomelilla. We have worked a lot with the build-up of games and the direct recovery when we lose the ball. Next year's goal is to continue working with our ball possession and become even clearer with our press game, and to spice this up with Simon's skills the last third to succeed in scoring more goals ahead, concludes Magnus Högström.

Trelleborg FF's creative midfielder Zoran Jovanovic agrees with division 2 club Österlen FF. Jovanovic, who nowadays turns 33 years, has been a member of Trelleborgs FF in recent years, where he has been TFF's top scorer for several years, not least three years ago when he contributed most of all to Trelleborgs FF returning to the Superettan.

The contract with Trelleborgs FF expires after this season and thereafter he belongs to Österlen FF for the next three years.

A class acquisition, how does this come about?
- I know Trelleborgs FF and several of the players quite well since my time as a leader in the club. Zoran was a teammate with Robin (Jacobsson) in Trelleborg and now he is craving something new and that way it is, says Österlen FF's head coach Jonas Stridsberg.

Jovanovic has had problems with a heel earlier in the season, how is his form in the current situation?
- He is in good shape and looks forward to joining the group.

What role will Jovanovic have in the ÖFF?
- On the plane we will use his experience and creativity. There will also be a substantial reinforcement alongside the planes. Zoran is a leader figure who also looks forward to helping our younger players take the next step in development.

Of course, a player of Jovanovic's caliber also attracts other talented players.
Do you have more recruiting bombs going on?
- Yes, we have more players that we are interested in, including a good player here locally who will join but it is too early to go out with this at present, concludes Jonas Stridsberg.

Zoran Jovanovic has IFK Malmö as the parent club and has made 20 junior national matches and three U21 national matches for Sweden. In Trelleborg's last match in Superettan when the team fell against Halmstads BK, Jovanovic sat on the bench. He does not learn to do that in Österlen FF.
