Here we bake the best sourdough pizza we can, develop the craft in the glass workshop, redefine what a long breakfast can mean and fill our garden shop with care. Everything under a mood may be best described as stripped luxury.
Our rooms are simple and sparsely decorated with materials of the highest quality. Downstairs, the scent is mixed with breakfast delicacies and freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy an extra cup in the garden or the orangery.
On Sundays during spring and autumn we serve long breakfasts. For a couple of hours take you on a culinary journey through Österlen with, among other things, freshly baked scones and home-cooked marmalade, file bowl from Vitaby Kyrkby Dairy, charcuterie from Södra Kompaniet, cheeses from Vilhelmsdals Gårdsmejeri and ice cream from our own ice cream shop Frusen Glädje. In other words, the best neighborhood has to offer, cooked with care.
"Age quod agis". A simple philosophy that has been our guiding star since the first pizza was baked in the wood-burning oven at Örum. We hardly dare to repeat, what is now starting to feel like a worn sentence, but here it is really about raw materials, raw materials, raw materials. There are not many other ways to go if you want to bake a good pizza. Fresh craft ice cream and ice cream desserts from our ice cream shop Frusen Glädje and a lot of other things. Munch in the cafe, garden or orangery.
Norrgavelhuset is designed by Nirvan Richter who has created an environment tailored to the good conversation. Here is the opportunity for corporate meetings up to 14 people for anyone who collects the management team "at home in the kitchen". The house can also be rented for holiday accommodation per day or week.
