Here we bake the best sourdough pizza we can, develop the craft in the glass workshop, redefine what a long breakfast can mean and fill our garden shop with care. Everything under a mood may be best described as stripped luxury.
Our rooms are simple and sparsely decorated with materials of the highest quality. Downstairs, the scent is mixed with breakfast delicacies and freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy an extra cup in the garden or the orangery.
On Sundays 30 March - 17 June and 12 August - 4 November we serve long breakfast. For a couple of hours, you will take a "food trip" through Österlen with freshly baked bread from Olof Viktor's stone oven bakery, file bowl from Vitaby Kyrkby Dairy, charcuteries from Södra Kompaniet, cheeses from Vilhelmsdal's Farm dairy and ice cream from our own ice cream shop Frusen Glädje. In other words, the best neighborhood has to offer, prepared with care.
"Age quod agis". A simple philosophy that has been our guiding light since the first pizza was baked in the wood-fired oven at Örum. We hardly dare to repeat, what is now beginning to feel like a tired opinion, but here it is really about raw materials, raw materials, raw materials. There are not so many other ways to go if you want to bake a good pizza. Freshly grown salads, fresh artisan ice cream from our Frozen Joy glass workshop and a lot of other things. Mum in the cafe, garden or in the orangery.
Norrgavelhuset is designed by Nirvan Richter who has created an environment tailored to the good conversation. Here is the opportunity for corporate meetings up to 14 people for anyone who collects the management team "at home in the kitchen". The house can also be rented for holiday accommodation per day or week.
