For real. What does it mean? The answers may vary at least as much as the countries' names on the world map. For us, real ice cream is equal to care in the raw material, recipes and manufacturing care. We work with natural ingredients, organic fruits and berries and locally produced milk products. And lots of love and laughter, of course.
Our flavors vary by mood and season, the range includes both sorbets (without milk products or eggs) and creamy gelato variants. We make fruit and berry ice cream on natural, organic homemade yogurt, which in our opinion best emphasizes the freshness and finer aromas of flavoring ingredients. Other varieties, such as vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut and pistachio, are made on milk and cream from Högalid in Smedstorp. Strawberries and other berries come from Juleboda in Degeberga. Rhubarb and mulberries come from Gladeholm, located at Stenshuvud.
In other words, artisan-made ice cream of the highest quality. Ice cream, for real.
For those of you who love our ice cream, we will not be in Kivik's harbor this year. We are already at Svabesholms Kungsgård in the small shed in the picture. From Saturday, we are also in our red carriage on Haväng in the forest grove between the hostel and the car park. At Svabesholm we only have ice cream. While we have sandwiches, buns, coffee etc. Warm welcome!
