Joy roar. Jacob Blixt is hailed by teammates Oskar Blixt, Adam Barchan and Freddie Brorsson after his dream goal against Nosaby which was decisive in the match.

Österlen FF took on Nosaby IF in division 2 eastern Götaland at home at Skillinge IP on Tuesday night. The home team won the lottery and chose to start with the Österlenska evening sun and a light breeze in the back. It was a tight match between two supposed top teams where the teams' respective defensive games effectively slowed down the attacking attempts. But with less than a quarter of an hour left, Jacob Blixt showed what his left-wing doja can achieve.

In the first half, Österlen had more ball than Nosaby, which resulted in a couple of hot goal chances, including two finishes in the crossbar. Points victory for Österlen but 0-0 on the bulletin board.

Felt immediately that it would go in

In the second half, Österlen came around on the edges of Nosaby, often when Freddie Brorsson repeatedly steamed on, but the posts into the penalty area often lacked the decisive sharpness.

DSC 4658 österlen.se
Freddie Brorsson did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans.

It would take until the 73rd minute before the decision would come. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after a corner kick, but the ball hit Zoran Jovanovic completely unmarked. Jacob Blixt stepped forward, set the ball straight and then screwed it over the defensive wall and into the goalkeeper's left corner with his red-hot left foot. Wow, redeemingly beautiful! Jacob's words about the class goal.

DSC 4681 österlen.se
Jacob Blixt's left has spoken. Nosaby's goalkeeper is out of luck.

- I wanted to put it there and if I get a good hit, the goalkeeper does not take the ball. I immediately felt when the ball left the foot that it would go in. It is difficult to get holes in strong defenses that are low so it was redemptive to score the goal. It's nice that the team that wins the match also wins, says Jacob Blixt who takes the opportunity to pay tribute to his teammates because everyone does the job for each other.

Do you practice a lot of free kicks?
- I did it when I was younger but not so much now.

Joy roar. Jacob Blixt is hailed by teammates Oskar Blixt, Adam Barchan and Freddie Brorsson after his dream goal against Nosaby which was decisive in the match.

A team machine that loves to work from home

After the goal, Nosaby moved the positions forward in an equalizer hunt, but apart from a couple of high posts in the last five, it never became really dangerous. Österlen's back line, with conductor Robin Jakobsson as army commander in the middle lock, impressed with smart positional play, synced exceptions and calm play. Österlen has so far, rightly, received much praise for his attacking football, but this version of ÖFF also has a defensive game called duga. When ten outfielders love to work hard at home, well then the defensive game looks easy. A 30-meter home run followed by a blocked post is undeniably a beautiful sight. The hard work and Jacob's class goals remain on the retina. The match ended fairly 1-0 to Österlen who now has two straight victories in the second which this year is decided in a single series. The next team to try to stop Österlen will be Kristianstad FC.

Skillinge IP was closed to the public but there were some places outside the sports field where it was still possible to get a glimpse of the match.

Dan Markdalen won the H60 competition at Djupadal!

18 September 2020
Dan markdalen won the h60 competition at djupadal!
DSC 5146 österlen.se
Dan Markdalen, in the middle, won the H 60 competition at Österlens Golfklubb.

It was a very gratifying home victory when the Swedish Golf Senior Tour H 60 was decided on Österlen Golf Club's course Djupadal. 113 players came to the start and at the top of the results list we find Markdalen who during the second day's game made an impressive 72-round containing a birdie, two boogies and 15 pairs! We cheer and congratulate! Here you read a report with pictures about the very successful two-day competition.

Of the 113 participants, no less than nine home players from Österlens GK lined up - Göran Höckert, Åke Appelgren, Gunnar Mueller, Anders Albäck, Dan Markdalen, Per Borg, Carl-Magnus Andersson, Jan Törner and Staffan Widerståhl. During the first day's round, we followed the balls where Markdalen and Mueller went.

DSC 5185 österlen.se
When all the players went out on the court, the club manager and the competition's competition leader Mikael Törnberg could breathe a sigh of relief in the clubhouse at Djupadal.

Birdie on the second and pistol on the eighth

08.51 Jan Wedsberg (Ullna GK), Jan Burgaz (Kungliga Drottningholms GK) and Dan Markdalen (Österlens GK) pointed out. Already on the first tee it became clear that this was a socially competent trio that set out in the wonderful late summer weather. Two pairs and a boogie on the first hole for the trio. On hole 2, Jan Wedsberg's shot ended up in a tricky position in the bunker 50 meters from the green. After getting the ball out of the bunker, it stopped about 15 meters before the green. The perfectly balanced putt rolled all the way up to the stick and straight into the cup - birdie from maybe 20 meters!

Jan Burgaz elegantly lifts the ball from a bunker on the 7th.

After the decision on the eighth, Jan Wedsberg mentions that he will produce his pistol. Thankfully, it turned out that it was only a pistol-like massager that was picked out of the bag. After a short while of self-treatment of the neck and back, Wedsberg was ready for the second shot down to the fast green of the eight.

Fruit time with nestorn Gunnar Mueller

After nine holes, Dan Markdalen and Jan Wedsberg had hit 38 strokes each and Jan Burgaz 44. Here at nine we thanked Dan, Jan and Jan for the company and instead joined Per Möller (Ljunghusens GK, Matti Säyrä (Upsala GK) and Gunnar Mueller (Österlens GK) during their last nine holes day 1.

The competition's judge Margaretha Trollestad made sure that the regulations were followed. On a couple of occasions, she had to act and clarify what applies to the stone walls on hole 13.

"Golf is a martial art"

A victory interview with Herr Markdalen is of course in place. Here he is seen in the middle together with the first day's playmates.

DSC 5146 österlen.se
Jan Burgaz, Dan Markdalen and Jan Wedsberg after the first nine holes day 1.

72-round the second day, what was it that worked so well?
- I know that golf is a martial art (which not many people know) and I always try to think away the bad and just try to hit fairways and greens, then the score is usually good. Djupadal is very "own" and if you give up a little, it will be 86 strokes immediately, says Dan Markdalen. I hit a lot of good irons, chipped decently and above all I lowered four five putts from two three meters which was crucial I would say. I missed almost nothing gross from the tee on 36 holes which was also good. The only double bogey came after I hit an iron 8 from 116 meters on the 12th on the first lap but I thought I kept the pitching wedge and ended up ten meters behind the green!

How did you celebrate the victory?
- The celebration was a pizza with a glass of wine in front of the Tour Champions on TV.

How are you overall on the H 60 tour?
- Advancement from 15th place to ninth in the ranking, concludes Dan Markdalen.

The first weekend in October, the H60 tour continues at Mauritsberg GK (Race to Mauritsberg) where the 70 best ranked players can participate.

Österlen pulls at the top after 3-1 against Karlshamn

Österlen pulls at the top after 3-1 against Karlshamn
DSC 5209 österlen.se
Österlen FF defeated IFK Karlshamn 3-1 at home at Skillinge IP.

After the last round's snotty 0-1 loss against Syrianska FC, Österlen FF is back on the winning track. IFK Karlshamn at home at Skillinge IP was defeated on Sunday afternoon with indisputable 3-1 and now Österlen has four points, and also a better goal difference, down to the table runner-up in division 2 which is currently Syrianska FC.

Well-oiled team machine took the initiative

Österlen's head coach Agim Sopi chose to start without the strong trio Zoran Jovanovic, Furkan Motori and Freddie Brorsson and had also moved the former fullbacks Samuel Fröjdh and Viktor Blixt as midfielders on each side. Not much of these changes was noticed, Österlen has a broad squad and is like a well-oiled team machine that immediately took the initiative and pushed back the canary-yellow-bleached bleachers. The crowd around the sports field and at screens (Ystads Allehanda broadcast the match live) just waited for 1-0. And it would come in the 23rd minute when Samuel Fröjdh found a gap in the crowd in front of Karlshamn's goal. Half time 1-0.

DSC 5224 österlen.se
A goal and an assist, Samuel Fröjdh can be happy with both the team and his own points harvest this afternoon.

Viktor found Victor

Karlshamn pulled up after the break, leveled the game and had a couple of dangerous posts from the edges, but it was still the home team that could extend the lead to 2-0 in the 52nd minute. Viktor Ekholm pushed forward on the left wing and via a classic oblique-inward-backward he reached his name with Blixt in last name who with the left pushed in the season's first league goal. Goals for both the advanced outfielders!

DSC 5228 österlen.se
Viktor hugs Victor. Viktor Ekblom's strong action along the left wing opened up for Victor Blixt's first goal of the season. Of course you should hug when the collaboration works so well!

Rasmussons 3-1 killed the match

Now Österlen's weakest period in the match followed. The strong press game was like blown away. The passivity meant that they were often second on the ball and the initiative passed to the guests who logically reduced to 1-2 with 20 minutes left. Österlen's coach Agim Sopi urged and made several changes to bring about a change. Among other things, a new acquaintance for the Österlen audience was replaced - Florent Sopi, who is coach Agim Sopi's nephew and who previously belonged to Malmö FF's U 19 squad. Also in came Zoran Jovanovic, Furkan Motori and Freddie Brorsson. With barely a quarter left, Samuel Fröjdh hit a long free kick that reached midfielder Erik Rasmussen's head to 3-1. This year's first goal also for Rasmusson. Österlen took over the initiative again and even though Karlshamn stood up in a couple of adjustments, the three-pointer was never in danger during the last quarter.

Next, Österlen now has two away matches against strong opposition - Dalstorps IF (12/9) and Husqvarna FF (19/9).

Österlen FF - IFK Karlshamn 3-1 (1-0)

Österlen's goals: 1-0 Samuel Fröjdh, 2-0 Viktor Blixt and 3-1 Erik Rasmusson.

After the afternoon's 0-2 loss against Råå IF, IFK Simrishamn's head coach Marcus Svensson chose to resign. Four rounds remain and Simrishamn is second to last with four points up to qualifying place.

DSC 5195 österlen.se
IFK Simrishamn came to several close positions against Råå IF and also had a reduction ball inside to 1-2 but which was ruled out.

- It feels very heavy. The whole year has been an uphill climb, in many ways and where the missed results are of course a part. Now I feel that I will no longer be with the squad and I take my responsibility and give this team an opportunity to boost up for the remaining four rounds. Often a new voice has a positive effect and an opportunity for the squad to be bound together, says Marcus Svensson immediately after the player squad has taken part in the decision.

Seven seasons as coach for IFK Simrishamn

This season is the seventh season that Marcus Svensson coaches IFK Simrishamn's a-team. There will be no eighth season. The highlight was of course last year's season when the team impressed a lot and went undefeated through division 4 and advanced to division 3.
- I am incredibly proud of the journey I have made, a lot in the club has changed in recent years. This year, however, has been one big disappointment. We went in with great ambitions and a belief in what was to come. Football is secondary to a year like this, many events that are much more important have put a gloomy shimmer over life. Suffers with all those who have been affected and those who unfortunately left us far too soon, Marcus Svensson writes on Facebook.

It is unclear who will take over

Who takes over the responsibility as head coach?
- For the time being, the assistant coaches Tobias Eriksson and Jonathan Karlsén will take over. It is unclear at this early stage who will be the new head coach. We need someone who is strong and water-resistant, and who thinks long-term and gets the trust of the association, concludes Marcus Svensson.

Fourth straight for Sankt Olof - Cakovic's skull decided against Spjutstorp

August 27
fourth straight for sankt olof cakovic's skull decided against spjutstorp österlen.se

Sankt Olofs IF against Spjutstorps IF at Kvarnvallen in Sankt Olof. Two undefeated teams in the football division 5 east. It took until the 80th minute of the match before Wednesday's match was decided. A precise free kick from Johan Nilsson against Edin Cakovic's strong main game gave Sankt Olof the 1-0 win.

Two different playing styles met

It seemed early in the morning that Spjutstorp wanted to roll the ball along the ground to force Sankt Olof to many defensive running meters. Sankt Olof bet more on high balls centrally to Tobias Sonesson and Edin Cakovic, both strong in the main game. None of the teams succeeded particularly well with their tactics and the first half was slow, a battle for the midfield where the guests were the most creative and who had the greatest ball possession. Maybe the dense and lush lawn helped keep the pace down? Spjutstorp had the best chance in the first half in the 39th minute when Mergim Mehmeti sucked a ball, drove sideways and finished a bit outside. Half time 0-0.

Immediately in the second half, Sankt Olof's Johan Nilsson thundered away a free kick with his left foot that struck the goal frame. Near a dream destination there. Spjutstorp tried to break the pattern from the first half by occasionally hitting longer balls on their nimble attackers in order to pull apart Sankt Olof's defensive line. But it did not succeed. The frustration over the goal drought of both teams crept in and in the middle of the second half the game heated up with tough close matches. The result was a break in the game, a bunch of warnings and a chat with referee Sadik Avdic.

Cakovic decided when ten minutes remained

And so in the 80th minute of the match, the match was decided when Johan Nilsson served Edin Cakovic who finally got a dividend with his head right in front of goal.

DSC 5025 österlen.se
In the middle of Spjutstorp's acknowledgment hunt, the irrigation system suddenly started up on Kvarnvallen. Here it is Spjutstorp's Joel Mårtensson who is ready for a shower. After a short break, the game resumed but stable home goalkeeper Herman Jönsson, only 16 years old, was able to keep a clean sheet.

Spjutstorp had the mobility and ball possession. Sankt Olof had a warring collective, and a hard-to-stop Cakovic, which was crucial this time.

DSC 4993 österlen.se
There was no goal party at Kvarnvallen. Easy to understand when you see this picture.

Sankt Olof now tops the division 5 table. The question is how good Sankt Olof really is, can it even be enough for advancement to the four? Later this autumn, we have the answer. What we can at least state is that it takes a good deal of morale to match the yellow jerseys from Sankt Olof. Despite the loss, Spjutstorp is in fourth place with one match less played than second place Vanstads IF and third place Åhus Horna BK, which currently holds the qualifying places upwards, so Spjutstorp also has every reason to look positively on the continuation of the series.

Final result Sankt Olofs IF - Spjutstorps IF 1–0 (0-0).
Goal: Edin Cakovic (80).

Gärsnäs AIS in blue lost 0-2 at home against Janstorps AIF.

The newcomers Gärsnäs AIS have so far surprised positively in football's division 4 east. On the contrary for Janstorps AIF who before Tuesday night's away match at Gärsvalla in Gärsnäs only had one victory. After a goalless first half, Janstorp had the most runs in the legs during the second half and won fairly with 0-2.

After an even start to the match where the teams knew each other and tried to find their way into the offensive third of the pitch, Gärsnäs scored two goals within four minutes (match minutes 20 and 24). However, both goals were ruled out for offside. Goals there and the match had certainly taken a different course. 0-0 after the first 45, chances for both teams but Gärsnäs had the most opportunities to paint.

DSC 4971 österlen.se
Gärsnäs goalkeeper Rafael Korowajczyk is like a dash in the air. The defensive players in blue Robin Eriksson and Dennis Olsson # 6 help to get the ball away. No goal this time.

In the second half, Janstorp had the most energy and motivation and could also score the first goal of the match via Oliver Knutsson. Gärsnäs then did not have the power to seriously get pressure in the equalizer hunt. Instead, Fabian Karlsson was able to make it 0-2 for his Janstorp in the 79th minute, which was also the end result.

- Janstorp finally won fairly, so now it's just to come again, because on Sunday it is a home game again. Vanneberga stands for the opposition and then it is only profit that counts, Gärsnäs writes on his page on Facebook.

The Österlender exchange between IFK Simrishamn and Tomelilla IF ended 0-0.

When the final signal sounded in Sunday's goalless derby between IFK Simrishamn and Tomelilla IF, it became completely silent around Korsavad's IP. Neither team could celebrate victory or shout out their disappointment and the crowd that pocketed home has to wait even longer for their favorite team's first three-pointer in division 3 football.

Simrishamn started the match clearly best with distinct actions and good passing play, which gave the home team the initiative and also a couple of decent positions in the first ten. Tomelilla was forced back but usually looked quite comfortable in that role. In similar match pictures, change modes usually appear. And of course it did in this match as well. After just over half an hour, one of Tomelilla's fast strikers ran free and had a free position, but as shot from a cannon, Simrishamn's defender Lucas Olsson intervened and was able to steer. The best position of the match and the best individual defensive effort of the match.

DSC 4965 österlen.se
Sometimes tough play and tough melee. Just as it should be in a derby where a lot is at stake.

In the second half, it was Tomelilla's turn to play against the wind. Despite this, the ball possession was evened out, but two stable playing defenses meant that most of the attacking attempts stopped before the offensive third. Goalkeepers Tobias Andersson (IFK Simrishamn) and Filip Malmqvist (Tomelilla IF) could quite easily secure their goal cages this afternoon.

Final result IFK Simrishamn Tomelilla IF 0-0 (0-0).

After five matches played, Simrishamn and Tomelilla have two points each, which places the team at the bottom of the table. In the next round, Tomelilla will receive Högaborgs BK at home at Tomelilla IP and Simrishamn will go to Lomma to take on GIF Nike. Then we can hope that the first victories will come for the Österlen team.

Österlen FF's goalkeeper Festim Bytyqi has kept a clean sheet four times in a row.

Friday night's 1-0 victory over Hässleholms IF at home at Skillinge IP meant the fourth straight three-pointer for Österlen FF in division two eastern Götaland. The result also meant that Österlen's goalkeeper Festim Bytyqi has now kept a clean sheet four games in a row. We let Bytyqi give his own explanation for the success.

- Look at the matches, we are a fantastically compact team and I do not get much to do. The outside players run like horses and I do what I need to do as a goalkeeper. Today we do not make a great match in terms of play, but we take the fight, says Festim Bytyqi.

DSC 4855 österlen.se
Österlen's Festim Bytyqi is a skilled goalkeeper with a good feeling in his feet who often participates in the game structure.

"We are compact and control each other"

You seem to be a team that is eager to work defensively. It is rare to see someone who is comfortable and careless with the job.

- That's right, that's our philosophy. We have those technical players, from midfield and up, who can do that little extra but without the job it means nothing.

DSC 4823 österlen.se
Österlen's Kevin Harletun with number 20 on his back has made it 1-0 against Hässleholms IF. And if you are compact and do not let in anything backwards, a goal forward is enough for three points.

Tonight you met Hässleholms IF, a very skilled team that sometimes had great ball possession. They also created some situations that could have cracked your zero and thus also the planning of this interview. Among other things, the last post of the match where you were forced to a good save next to one post.

- They shook us a little with their inserts and played fantastic football compared to the teams we have met so far. The important thing is that we are compact even if they get past certain parts of the team. We have tactically prepared for how we will deal with these situations when the opponents have the initiative.

Zero four games in a row, have you done it before in a senior context?

- Do not know, I kept many zeros last year as well but I have planned not to stay at four. Hopefully I can continue to hold tight. The outdoor players do a fantastic job and help me.

DSC 4852 österlen.se
Festim Bytyqi controls the team from behind.

During the matches, Festim Bytyqi controls his teammates by talking and giving tips. A confident voice from behind.

- It is important that I am also up and running so that I can warn them if there is an opponent behind. It is part of that we are so compact, we control each other and everyone knows their roles now. Agim (Österlen FF's head coach) has had a great time with a game idea that everyone likes.

Retains number 1 on the back

When we talk defensive play, it is of course not just the goalkeeper and defenders who should be mentioned. Take Adam Barchan, for example, your team captain who symbolizes what we talked about earlier - taking the defensive job.

- Agree, Adam's running meters today are enormous. I'm really impressed. He runs like a horse and wins those tough melee fights. We have many different types of players and we play very well together. The passes do not have to go right all the time, the important thing is that we run.

You have number 1 on the back of your match shirt. No thoughts on switching to number 0?

- Haha, there are some who have suggested it. I keep one, it means that I will come first in the series, Festim Bytyqi concludes.

Kristianstad FC Österlen FF 0-4.

Österlen FF took their third straight victory in division 2 football on Monday night after a clear 4-0 away game against Kristianstad FC.

Closed first half

Kristianstad started strongest and had the initiative for a ten minute period without creating any dangers. After that, Österlen gradually took over, but both teams' strong defensive play meant that the really hot chances were missed. After just over half an hour, Österlen's Zoran Jovanovic found at least a plug to Furkan Motori who in a good position did not get to the finish. Shortly afterwards, Jacob Blixt bombed from a distance, but the ball appeared just over the Kristianstad goalkeeper's, also Österlen acquaintance Joel Hallgren's, crossbar. A lot of play on Österlen's offensive right wing where wingback Viktor Blixt threatened forward with quick jerks and twists. A couple of times he was close to running through Kristianstad's defense. Half time 0-0.

DSC 4768 österlen.se
Viktor Blixt is courted by three Kristianstad players.

Zoran Jovanovic gave Österlen a taste start on others

The second half only lasted a couple of minutes when Österlen's Furkan Motori precision lifted a post against Zoran Jovanovic who headed the ball down into Joel Hallgren's right corner. 0-1 and a taste start on the second 45. The orange-clad home players now started a draw, but the often short attack attempts were stopped outside Österlen's penalty area or steered towards the sidelines and no major pressure on Österlen's goal ever occurred.

Kevin Harletun's long awaited goal

After 77 minutes, Österlen's goalkeeper Festim Bytyqi kicked the ball out to the hard-working striker Kevin Harletun, who after the ball bounced to the ball and lobbed it over both the outgoing goalkeeper and the home defensive player. Vigilant. The 0-2 goal was Harletun's first bowl of the season. This is what he said about the long-awaited goal.

- Fun to score goals and not just do a good job without painting, but the most important thing was that we won, says Kevin Harletun.

Tell us about the goal.

- I get a good pass from Festim, read the game and see that the goalkeeper is far out early. I saw the door and lifted the ball away. It is also important that we were able to keep a clean sheet for the third game in a row. Kristianstad joined in the first half then we drive over them. The team that scores the first goal has a big advantage in such an important match, Kevin Harletun concludes.

DSC 4782 österlen.se
Kevin Harletun on the left cheers and holds on to Zoran Jovanic after his 0-1 goal at the start of the second half.

Both 0-3 and 0-4 came after quick adjustments. Jacob Blixt worked his way through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Reverse roles at 0-3 when Freddie Brorsson pushed forward on the left edge and dropped the ball obliquely inwards backwards where Jacob Blixt met and pulled the ball in the goalkeeper's left corner.

Goal pass and penalty save by Festim Bytyqi

Kristianstad's best chance would come in the 93rd minute when substitute Oskar Blixt first slipped (there were several Österlen players slipping on the arena's hybrid grass) and then hooked a Kristianstad striker when he worked his way up. Indisputable punishment. Festim's stick rescue was also the indisputable - goal pass and penalty save in one and the same match! Final result 0-4 and Österlen has not yet conceded a goal in this year's Division 2 series. On Friday night, Österlen will be visited by Hässleholms IF. Fourth straight? Kick-off 19.00.

Mirnes Nurkovic, here in Baskemölla's away place, offered Saturday sweets.

The first league goals in a senior context, how does it feel?

- It feels good and also nice to do a hat trick in the first home game for me. It feels like you got into senior football quickly. It has not been any problem at all to adapt to the gameplay either, says Mirnes Nurkovic.

Your first two goals were almost copies of each other, do you train a lot of shots from a distance?
- Yes, it often happens that I come in from the right edge in both training and matches, so there are quite a few shots from the very angles that I shot from.

The free kick was not bad either, have you decided that it is you who will lay the free kicks?

- We always have a left foot and a right foot and just then I felt that it was time to put it myself. We have many good free kicks in the team, including Simon (Jeppsson) who also shot a free kick in the match.

You were very effective going forward today, it must have been a real boost for self-confidence in the whole team?

- Yes, it really was, we pumped the whole match and did not stop attacking and threatening Brantevik's defense, it was maybe a bit relaxed in the second half but overall I think we make a great match and own most of the match, concludes Mirnes Nurkovic .

"Good combo of young and younger players, because we have no old ones"

- I think we are right in the positions and dare to attack with the whole team. We are not as physical as Brantevik but we do not give up. Above all, the outer slopes come up so that the outer midfielders can cut in and finish. We dare to pass around, find gaps and do not send the long ball all the time. In the second half we keep the ball and do not stress forward. We do it really well so Brantevik never gets a real grip on the match, says Johan Hörberger.

Four of your young players scored their first league goals in the senior context, guess there were a lot of happy mouths in the locker room after the match?
- Yes, it was a great atmosphere. It was a relief for everyone too and a proof that we can score goals and that the game works.

Mirnes Nurkovic's hat trick, what do you have to say about it?
- Mirnes does exactly what we train on, cuts in and finishes. Then he has a sharp left foot so I am not very surprised that he shoots in two and puts a free kick.

What do you take with you to the next match that is already played on Thursday away against Glemmingebro IF?
- Glemmingebro on Thursday does not know much about them. But we take with us the positive that you get from a win and continue to play ball. This is the first year many of the seniors play senior football, which must also be taken into account. It is a good combo with young and younger players, because we have no "old", Johan Hörberger concludes.

Final result Baskemölla IF - Branteviks IF 6-2Goalscorers Baskemölla IF: Oliver Wiege, Alexander Vokoun, Simon Jeppsson and Mirnes Nurkovic 3.
Goalscorers Branteviks IF FF: Peter Ipsen and Sebastian Nilsson.

The postponed football spring means that this weekend's premieres for the local football teams in Österlen are extra welcome. Österlensport checked the situation for some of the teams during last weekend's training matches where IFK Simrishamn met Mjällby AIF's U19 and Gröstorps IF took on Baskemölla IF.

Svensson satisfied with Simrishamn's defensive play

IFK Simrishamn (division 3) was visited by Mjällby AIF's very competent 19-year-olds (plays in the southern U19 Allsvenskan). Simrishamn resisted really well and pushed Mjällby down at the end of the first half, which resulted in a few half chances. In the final stages of the second half, roles were changed where Simrishamn's defensive line was put to the test when lightning - fast Mjällby strikers set full speed but Simrishamn's back line did well. The completely even and well-played match at Korsavad's IP was decided with less than ten minutes left when Mjällby was awarded a penalty that was used.
Final result IFK Simrishamn - Mjällby AIF U19 0-1 (0-0).

- In the first half we do many good things, we stand right and come in the right areas, but despite that we do not create so many situations in the last third. We are not sharp enough going forward. For 60 minutes we have good control of them. Then we lack match condition, which can be seen in the last twenty when we end up low when Mjällby takes over. I had hoped to get some energy from the innings with the bites not grabbing the balls, says IFK Simrishamn's head coach Marcus Svensson who was extra happy with the defensive game.

Was it an imaginary starting eleven you started with?
- Basically. Tobbe (goalkeeper) injured himself a bit in training so he stood over today. A pure precaution. Then it is a bit unclear what will happen to Tibor Cica who has moved to Malmö. We feel after the conditions prepared for the premiere away against IFK Trelleborg, it will be fun, Marcus Svensson concludes.

Jakob Nilsson made a stable effort in IFK Simrishamn's defense.

Gröstorp broke Baskemölla

At Gröstorps IP, the newcomers in division 5 Gröstorps IF faced the division 6 team Baskemölla IF. It seemed early on that there is a division between the teams. Admittedly, Baskemöll's Arshad Jamil Gröstorp equalized's early lead goal by setting a penalty, but then it was the home team for almost all the money. Baskemölla's defensive line had a hard time keeping up when Noak Karlsson, Emil Löfvall and Petter Håkansson stormed forward. Final result Gröstorps IF - Baskemölla IF 4-1 (2-1).
