Join a hike along the newly opened Jätteleden and through millennia of history. The walk is led by the museum's staff - archaeologist, archaeologist and narrator.

In the project See and care, Österlen's museum has built a new hiking trail in the ancient landscape south of Gröstorp. According to an ancient legend, a giant is buried just outside Gröstorp, in the outfields of Jarlen's estates in Järrestad. The new trail makes Kvejsahöj, Stenstuan outside Gröstorp and Pittjestenen accessible - a hike that includes the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age in the eastern landscape. Follow us in the giant's footsteps and listen to stories about giants of various kinds. Discover and learn more about the cultural landscape, the right of public access and our ancient monuments. The hike is about 1,7 km in total. Bring your own coffee basket. Collection and parking at Svenska Foder's grain reception in Bjärsjö.

Price: SEK 100, children SEK 25, family price SEK 200. Can be paid in cash or with Swish. Maximum 30 participants. For participation, pre-registration is required no later than 16/9, for cancellations after 17/9, half the fee will be charged. Enter address and social security number when you pre-register. Pre-registration in the museum shop or to: osterlens.museum@simrishamn.se. Booking confirmation is sent via email.
