Sven-Åke Ekberg, Sten M Rosenlund and Madeleine Pyk are the jury that made the selection for the HösterlenSalon 2019. They will also exhibit their own works in the "Lilla Galleriet" at GyllenGården.

Out of a total of 225 submitted works of art, the jury selected 63 works by 40 different artists.

This year's salon consists of a mix of works of art in various techniques, painting, sculpture, photo, textile, forging, glass and various mixing techniques.

Other opening hours until 20 October are Friday - Sunday 11-16.

HösterlenSalon concludes the usual with the award of the audience's prize "Guldramen". During the exhibition, the audience will be able to vote on their favorite artwork. In addition to an honorary award, the winning artist also receives a gift card Ramgården in Lövestad.

Jury of the Year

This year's jury has had two tasks. In addition to selecting artworks from the applicants in the usual way, they will exhibit their own works in the newly created Lilla Galleriet at GyllenGården.

Of course, we have therefore selected a jury that can best meet both of these tasks. The jury 2019 will help raise the quality and attractiveness of the HösterlenSalon another level. It consists of the following well-known art profiles:

Madeleine Pyk Visual artist and writer born in Stockholm. One of our most accomplished, most colorful and fascinating contemporary artists.

She paints in a naivistic style and often uses strong colors. Her motif circle includes landscape, still life and portraiture. She has studied at the Art Academy and the Academy of Art, is represented at the Moderna Museet, among others.

Sten M Rosenlund Art connoisseur, TV producer, filmmaker and photographer in art and culture. Resides in Stockholm, Brösarp, Paris and London.

His portrait book "Preserving the moment" is a unique collection of artist portraits by, among others, Jasper Johns, Marina Abromovich, Karin Mamma Andersson, Christo, Jim Dine, John E. Franzén, Gilbert & George, Damien Hirst and Yoko Ono.

Sven-Åke Ekberg A sculptor who lived all his life among the apple trees in Kivik and its surroundings. His sculptures in iron are often depicting reality. cyclists and trees, gas-welded to miniatures, groups or reliefs.

The people he sculpted are characterized by one explosion of body language, distinct characteristics and personality. Member of ÖSKG and KRO.

hösterlenSalon 2019 usually ends with the award of the audience's prize "Guldramen".
