A walk with extra-everything.

A walk with extra-everything.
Written by Annika Olsson / 26 June, 2019

It was an early morning just before Midsummer. A regular round around the lake, just like a thousand times before. But by my side she went, she who I longed for a completely long year. My oldest daughter.

The morning was saturated after the night's rain and thunderstorms. Nature felt as freshly washed as the freshly laid sheets I put in the guest bed the day before.

The summer flowers had relieved all spring plants.

At the castle stall, it was quiet and quiet. Not the smallest quiver was heard, not even a small horse affair.

At the lake's bathing area, the maize had grown up by the recent rain.

On the scout's bridge lay the ducks and rested in the sun.

"Here we can put ourselves for a while," I told my daughter.

-No mom, now we should not disturb the birds, she replied, as the typical animal lover she has always been.

So we just sneaked past.

For me, it was one of thousands of rounds around this old lake. Yet it felt like every second was so valuable. Precious as gold.

Together with the daughter I only meet a few days every year. A walk just as usual, but still something very special! As a useful protein drink for my glowing mother heart.

Quote of the day:

Not until the longing goes over to lack, you understand how wonderful the longing is.

I already long for the next time she comes home. Until then, I will be sure to keep the path around the lake cramped.

With the moon as a company.

January 28, 2019

Good morning.

It's something mysterious and something wonderful with the moon at the same time. Especially when it's full.

An early morning as I walked along the beach in Vitemölla, the moon was my only company. With my "long" lens, it felt like I was just a little bit away from the old man on the moon.

Since the dog Johnny had been bathed the night before and was not completely dry in his coat, he had to go out and stay at home on dry.

It felt a bit enchanting where the moon hung over the market field and watched me as I walked along the sea.

The small fishing cottage opposite the chapel looked to be in winter hibernation. Its utensils created beautiful silhouettes of the moon.

The little chapel we visited this summer HEMVÄNDARDAGEN, also looked to be slumbering hard.

The scalloped seaweed on the beach formed a beautiful pattern and in the sky the moon followed me where I went. As a great scouting eye.

As the day brightened, the tracks of all the airplanes in the air were colored romantic pink.

Vitemölla bath hotels also seemed to be in winter time. Ashamed, I thought that even though I live so close, I have never been there for my entire life.

Perhaps there may be changes to it, possibly it will be a visit to the summer…

Quote of the day:

Imagine when we are standing on the moon sometime in the future and say, oh what beautiful full soil it is tonight.

Have a good time and hug.

You remember our little birds.

January 27, 2019

Do you not forget all our little wonderful birds? After all, it is those who are to raise life in the spring when that time is up.

Now that winter has come here to us at Österlen, then it is important to provide the small birds with extra food supplements. For everyone, we long for their beautiful song. Now it is important to keep them well-fed and alert.

I already think that I can hear a certain difference in the birdsong the days when the sun is looking forward. Especially, the tail of the tallow is so wonderful I think.

At home with us, we put out food regularly and have a lot of different kinds of birds. The mountain finch is an extra beautiful bird and I am happy when it comes to our feeding.

The arrow heads love the web baskets where we put tallow balls. There they feel a bit safer I think. For enough, I've seen how sparrows get a change sometimes.

We fill the newly renovated bird house with fat, good sunflower seeds. It also seems popular.

We still have quite a few winter left. Some day ago I saw the safe sign that more snow is on the way. A bullfinch glimpsed in the blackberry rice.

The judge is the most beautiful bird of the winter, I think.

Quote of the day:

A good action never stops by itself. It leads to new good deeds. A good action spreads its roots in all directions. These roots then become their own trees. The best thing about good deeds is that they make people who receive them also good.

Have a great day.

The caves and Kared

January 26, 2019

This is the name that I often hear my dear husband talk about when we are in Kivik. Names that I don't really know if they are real or it's the natives themselves baptized the places to. Names that were used when Stefan was a little jaded. Maybe it's even so, really, what do I know ...

An early morning when I was in Kivik I went out on that little strip of land outside the harbor. The landslip that Stefan says is called "Kared".

Johnny and I gently pawed out on the little ice-covered bridge. The iron bridge as it is called. Out at Kared I saw how all the birds terrified took to the flight and took their flight to Karakås instead.

The water you pass when you walk on the Iron Bridge is called Hölen, and is the old inlet to Kivik's harbor.

Out there on the small island it is so beautiful I think.

When I enjoyed both Hölen and Kared I walked past the "Sweden House" (my own name) away to beautiful SOLEVI.

It's all good fun with old names.

Quote of the day:

The bad news is that time flies, the good news, you are the pilot.

Have a nice day.

Lovely Backrakra.

January 25, 2019

It was so beautiful that morning when I saw the day dawn at Backåkra and Löderups camping.

I had parked my car at Dag Hammarskjöld's beautiful farm and walked down the meadow towards the sea.

The ground was white with frost and the place made for meditation it looked so inviting.

Although I and the dog Johnny enjoyed the peace of mind and calmness by the sea in the fantastic sunrise instead.

Having the opportunity to enjoy a sunrise by the sea, it is like the greatest treasure. It does something with body and soul.

When the sun was up and the world was bathing in a warm light, we went to the car and the beautiful meditation site again.

Yes, imagine sitting here a lukewarm spring morning and let your thoughts stop and just take breath after breathing in a still regular rhythm. Wonderfully.

I nodded my thanks to Dag before I rushed on in my old-fashioned Volvo.

Quote of the day:

True love is when someone accepts your past without judging you, yours now without changing you and your future without limiting you.

My beloved Johnny dog, just that love he gives me. The best party a magical sleepless morning.

Have a good time and hug

Insomnia can change into magic.

January 24, 2019

It is certainly more than I am affected by the moon. Perhaps you also find it difficult to get some real sleep when it is full moon. I have stopped lying in bed and suffering. Nowadays I take my camera and go to Österlen in the wolf hour.

Östra Vemmerlöv's church also seemed to have a little difficulty with sleep when I passed.

To enjoy an early morning grooming, you can do it anywhere. But this morning I had the aim set for a particular goal.

With my constant companion, the dog Johnny, we rushed forward in the cold dawn. That it would be a beautiful morning, there was no doubt whatsoever about it.

My goal was beautiful Backåkra and the sea below Dag Hammarsskjöld's farm. A place I have never actually been to in my entire life. Walking over the frozen meadow down to the sea was a magical experience. All alone, for a little while I owned the whole place. A place that is fabulously beautiful.

Below the meadow and the small forest strip is a campsite (I think it is Löderups camping). A camping that looked like sleeping a hard winter sleep.

When Johnny and I came down to the sea, the day had begun to brighten. The sea looked ice cold.

The white sand, which in the summer is warm and velvety, was now frame-free and hard as cement. Everything was so beautiful in winter, and I felt so grateful for the experience.

Quote of the day:

It is never too late to take a new direction, to live a new story and to build a new dream.

Do you also have trouble sleeping when the moon is full, get up and catch some magic with you. The next night sleep usually becomes deep and good.

Strengthening to start the day by the sea.

January 23, 2019

Sometimes I have to pinch myself in the arm to understand that it's for real. That I live and live so that I have the freedom to start my day like this.

It is as often as I hear people complaining about the dite and the daughter, when they could just open their eyes and think the other way around. Focus the mind on what gives peace.

Instead of loving problems and misery, many should give themselves a dose of positive thoughts and strengthening energy. Then life becomes so much easier to tackle.

We all suffer from various problems and dangers, because that is life. But if you train yourself to see the little wonderful thing that always exists, then life becomes so much easier.

If you have a sense of humor and self-insight, then you can have really fun in the midst of all your sorrows and worries.

Quote of the day:

Life is a bit of a roller coaster, and if you have fallen down it is just to take new ones and climb up again. // Dagny 106 years (my colleague and new idol)

Have a nice day and hug.

Winter and cold.

January 22, 2019

Then we got Easterners a little taste of winter and cold.

An early morning showed our thermometer here in Gyllebo at minus seven degrees. That morning, there was a thin blanket of ice in its places. An ice cap that almost looked like window glass that you used to have in the toilet window. The raw glass.

In the places where the water is a little stream, geese and ducks had gathered. Some in the water and others on the thin ice crust.

A thin layer of powder snow had been aimed over our Eastern landscape. I like lovely when it comes a little snow and lights up the world a little.

At home in my own garden, it is also "deep winter" that Gustav Mandelmann calls it. The sunflowers of the summer I have left. Now they are the most brown, ugly and stand there as sunflower skeleton adorned with ice and snow.

But do you know, soon it is time to pre-cultivate new lovely sunflowers, which will light up this summer.

Quote of the day:

There is a good road to joy and it is to stop worrying about what one cannot influence.

Have a nice day and hug.

Most beautiful in Sweden.

January 21, 2019

Hello Hello

Wonderful nice Solevi at Kivik. Perhaps it is the most beautiful sports venue in the whole of Sweden?

One morning last week, when I walked and saw the day dawn at Kivik's harbor, then I took a turn even to beautiful Solevi.

Johnny and I enjoyed the morning and life. He in his way and I at my. For my part, I was deeply absorbed in memories. Memories from the place where my parents celebrated their days of being. 50 and 60 years. The age I am in now, I realized scared. Oddly, it felt like it was just five years ago… It must be something crazy with the timing.

Fortunately, my thoughts were soon drawn back to the present. A ball had been aimed by Johnny. And with this one can have a lot of fun.

I myself never realized the beauty of playing football. Well, I did my brave attempts in Brösarp's women's team, I did everything. But pretty soon I was poked by the coach, when he realized that I was using him to get along to meet guys instead. The training clothes were usually forgotten at home. (sorry for that Allan Olsson)

No, my sporting career did not go so well. Better enough for my husband Stefan, if you now believe in everything he tells you. The older he gets, the more "heels" he did when he was young, it seems.

And it was right here at Solevi that he heard at home. Many Kivlings remember him. Perhaps also the Brussels, where he played in his glory days. I, who often stayed at Brösarp's football pitch, can remember a large curly player who then went under the name Sniff. He was so horribly old and not at all particularly interesting for a young girl like me ... so I thought at least that.

The ways of life are unfathomable. It's good to let fate decide I think.

Nowadays, there is not much football in our lives. Stefan can't even be in oldboys with his stiff-operated foot.

-No, by the way you go to draw a ballet in the year, he complained one day.

But maybe it's lucky, I thought, and saw him for my inner vision, dressed in leotards.

Quote of the day:

The football player took in so that the shoe flew off. Luckily he didn't nod.

And of course, Solevi must be one of Sweden's most beautiful sports venues!

Have a good time and hug on all of you.

I run - so I am.

January 20, 2019

For me, there is no better or better way to keep my fitness running than to run. I absolutely love it!

If you also live in Gyllebo on Österlen, then it is just that simple.

But then it hasn't always been. It wasn't until I was 44 years old that I took my first real leap. Before that, I was a true couch potato. I had never run any longer in my adult life. At most a kilometer maybe. I was absolutely convinced that my body could not run.

To be approved as a home defense soldier, I had to pass a running test.

- how hard can it be, I thought and started training.

But I wasn't particularly cocky when I hung over a stump after my first lap around the lake and spat like a calf.

That is nine years ago now, but I'm still running. Of course, my hernias have limited my color sometimes. But my brain has got a taste of this. The wonderful feeling that the running gives.

The pain threshold? I shit it! … As Thomas Wassberg said…

Nowadays I do not think so much about the performance, the distance or the time. Now I just enjoy every single step.

Getting started with some kind of exercise is not that difficult. The hard thing is to never stop with it. Therefore, it is important to find something that you really enjoy, something that is simple and easy to get into everyday life.

Running a train does not require more than a pair of shoes. Then just step out. If you live as I do in wonderful Österlen, then it is not difficult a single thing !!

But I am not at all a magnificent and talented practitioner. You can't believe that.

"Understanding pundits" and knowledgeable training professionals have given me strict guidelines on regular strength training. Otherwise, my back does not hold. But to a gym I rarely (never read) take me. Then the couch potatoes come stealthily with full force.

Quote of the day:

Keep running, you're just tired!

Hope you find your form to keep your body running. My own philosophy is that it is better to do something than nothing, and when you start with that "something" then you are up and running!

Hug on you

Order and find out my pictures.

January 19, 2019

(post contains advertising links)

The first week of January every year, I always arrange sometimes my photos on the computer. I sort the images into folders and back up to external hard drives.

All my photographs have been saved on three different external hard drives. With exactly the same photo on each one - for safety reasons. Yes I know, it's a little exaggerated. But after a complete computer crash nine years ago, I know that everything can disappear in a snap. That time, the images could be saved. It cost us close to 25.000.

My pictures are not special or valuable in any way. But for me, the photos of loved ones in different contexts are invaluable. Therefore, I am now very careful to back up.

Every year, I also get some photo books printed with the dearest photos.

This is perhaps a little reminder to YOU too. That you just need to think about which photos to save. Because it's not about if the computer crashes, but about WHEN it actually does.

And when I was doing all the photos, my eyes were on these lovely "junk flowers". A spring sign we will soon see in our ditches.

Tonight's quote:

It is not intended that all people you meet should be in your life forever. Some are only there just as long as you need to get the insight you need.

But it is fun to have photos of friends and events over the years.

Tip: Sometimes as we wait in the spring and all the lovely scents, you can take the opportunity to buy lovely scented candles HERE. On Lyko There is also a lot of other beneficial and fragrant for the whole body, right now with extra good prices.

Have a good time and hug.
